Levi’s® BMX Pro Jamie Bestwick had a tough time getting to China, but felt right at home once on the vert ramp. Jamie (pictured above being interviewed by Neil Hendrix from Fuel TV) started 2009 off right where he left off last year with another big vert win. This time it was the Alli China Invitational in Beijing. Jamie struggled to make the trip due to problems with his visa, but arrived just in time to get into the action. He certainly made the most of the opportunity unleashing a huge triple tailwhip and taking the win. Jamie’s Levi’s® team mate Zack Warden also made the trip to China and finished 8th. Levi’s® BMX Pro Corey Martinez just recently turned 26. His wife, Rachelle, also had a recent birthday, so last Friday they threw an 80s-themed party at their house to celebrate. More amazing party picks can be found over on Corey’s United blog. Happy belated, Corey!
Levi’s® BMX Pros Morgan Wade and Nathan Williams are currently on Road Fools 17 with the Etnies crew. Props’ latest installment of the Road Fools franchise pits the Etnies team against the Kink squad in a unique road trip/competition. Shown above, Morgan and rival team member Chris Doyle enjoy some kite flying action between sessions somewhere in the South. ESPN has posted “Gettin’ Out Of Town”, a web edit following Levi’s® BMX Pros Corey Martinez and Nathan Williams on a 24-hour road trip from Alabama/Tennessee to Ohio. The crew rides ramps at the System Cycle warehouse, and hits up Ollie’s Skatepark. They also run into Levi’s® BMX flow pro Jeremiah Smith, who makes a cameo appearance in the video. Enjoy.
The 2009 installment of Jomo Pro is going down this weekend at Autumn Ramp Park in Joplin, MO. Pro park qualifying took place yesterday (Saturday) with 58 riders in the field. Levi’s® BMX flow pro Jeremiah Smith repeated his performance from last year by once again qualifying first. As we mentioned a few weeks back; Jeremiah is on top of his game right now. Pro finals take place this afternoon (Sunday), so we’d like to wish Jeremiah the best of luck. Thanks for repping Levi’s® in Joplin!
